The joint Admission and matriculation board (JAMB) is an board that organizes the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) which is predominantly written in a West African country 'Nigeria'. Jamb is an
entrance examination board for the tertiary level/college institutions. The
examination is conducted in over 650 accredited computer based test (CBT) centers distributed round the country. All
candidates in this country must write the examination and meet the cut off marks set
by their preferred institution choice, out of various institutions in the country.
In Nigeria, there are 36 states and has over 322 tertiary
level institutions which comprises of the federal universities, private
universities, state universities, public polytechnic, private polytechnics and
college of education.

How to Create a Jamb profile.
1. Sign up on their official website http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/ValidateeMail.
2. Fill in the registration form with the right information. (An Applicant is entitled to one phone number only)
3. After a profile is created, Send your full name (Surname, first and middle name) to "55019" as SMS.
4. A ten-digit Profile code will be sent to your phone.
5. Present your Profile code and buy the registration form at the approved(Banks, MFBs, USSD Partners, Switches) obtain your ePIN.
(APPLICANTS WILL THEN PROCEED TO ANY OF THE 650 JAMB UTME ACCREDITED CBT CENTRES TO COMPLETE THEIR REGISTRATION 2020.)

The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will commence between March 14 and April 14. The JAMB registrar stated that an optional mock examination for candidates would also take place on February 18, 2020. Registration for the exams will start on January 13 and end on February 17. All candidates must have their National identification number (NIN) to take part in this examination this year.
